A Cold Winter in Craeyn

Craeyn. The village of Craeyn rests on the side of a hill at the base of the mountains dividing the Duchy of Clermont from the dwarflands to the west.  The winters here are harsh and demanding. Once the snow falls, the trail to Craeyn is impassable - no one comes in or out until the spring. The denizens of the region know their survival depends on careful preparation. As the cold approaches, the storehouse must be well-stocked with firewood, food, and medicine.

The Raid. As the rains of autumn took hold and the storehouse was nearly full, the dwarves arrived: a troop of thirty professional soldiers. They emptied the storehouse, set fire to buildings, and took four townspeople prisoner.  With their supplies stolen and most remaining townspeople too old or too young to forage for supplies in the wilderness, Domhnall traveled to Oldwynn Town in search of help.

This is a DLC.  A village and encounters designed for use with Do Not Let Us Die in the Dark Night of this Cold Winter and Shadowdark RPG (or other old-school role playang games).
